I would not say that you goofed. Minerva has almost as exact a memory as she had when she was a computer. A long time ago. Respect for laws is a pragmatic matter.
But she was as stubborn as I am with the sort of firmness that can't be argued with, because she would not argue. and that doesn't fit having a grandfather, unless you invent complexities, any one of which might snap back and catch you out. Perhaps just a chance to talk over my problems with a person more experienced than I am. Details, dear.
